Legalism or True Faith

-Legalism engenders condemnation.

True faith generates a clean conscience.

-Legalism produces a harsh countenance.

True faith puts a pleasant smile on the face.

-Legalism amplifies the negative traits in others.

True faith exposes the positive qualities in people.

-Legalism is unduly harsh in its judgments.

True faith renders judgment with empathy.

-Legalism hides behind a hypocritical mask.

True faith is genuinely honest with one’s failures.

-Legalism causes one to struggle in moral defeat.

True faith overcomes Sin to enjoy God’s Holiness.

-Legalism strives diligently to win God’s approval.

True faith seeks to honor God by approving his will.

-Legalism excuses disobedience to God by claiming,

 “It’s nowhere in the Bible.”

True faith says, “Surely, there is a Scriptural Principle

to guide my specific decision?”

-Legalism makes allowance for one’s big beams.

True faith deals with personal specks of sawdust.

-Legalism fights frantically to usurp and maintain control.

True faith rests in the security of Providential Management.

-Legalism justifies prejudices and bigotry against those

sinners who are not under God’s unconditional election.

True faith sees every human as a candidate of

God’s loving Redemption and eternal Salvation.

-Legalism demands others to fall in line with its

denominational theologically outlined faith tenets.

True faith endeavors to love its fellow congregants,

to the intent that unbelievers will want to become a

part of The Kingdom-of-Heaven-Peace-Movement.

-Legalism believes that God’s highest

goal is man’s individual good.

True faith is convinced that the purpose for

man’s creation is God’s personal glory.

-Legalism thinks God needs me to carry out his agenda.

True faith knows that I need God to fulfill my divine calling.
