-Beauty to replace unsightliness
-Joy to replace mourning
-Praise to replace depression
-Grace to replace legalism
-Mercy to replace judgment
-Peace to replace animosity
-Holiness to replace depravity
-Humility to replace pride
-Kindness to replace violence
-Freedom to replace slavery
-Love to replace hate
-Faith to replace fear
-Truth to replace relativism
-Light to replace darkness
-Self-control to replace anarchy
-Forgiveness to replace condemnation
-Goodness to replace wickedness
-Empathy to replace judgmental-ism
-Longsuffering to replace impatience
-Thanksgiving to replace discontentment.
Now most of us as professing Christians will say that we would love these wonderful, beautiful, and positive opening virtues to fill our hearts continually. We do not like the latter conditions to be our constant experience in life. But we must remember that these antitheses of thinking cannot co-habit within the human soul. Therefore, if we truly desire the former qualities we must rid our self of the latter attitudes and thought patterns. However, to do so effectively we must first open our self for God to fill us with the former. As these divine virtues invade our being the fleshly lusts and evil mentality will have to leave us. It is impossible for us as humans to live in an attitudinal vacuum. This means that we are forced to choose which of these will reign within us.
